This will feed you and your valentine for several meals, or have a party!

3-4 lbs beef brisket
Olive oil, salt and pepper
2 leeks, sliced into half moons
1 large onion, julienned
4 parsnips, diced
5 ribs of celery, diced
1 pound of oyster or shiitake mushrooms
8 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups beef stock
2 cups red wine
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 handful of thyme, rosemary and sage
Salt and pepper
4 tablespoons butter, cut into quarters
