8 garlic cloves
4 lemons, halved
1 cup olive oil
6 tsp maple
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 handful parsley
1 handful dill
1 handful chives
In a dry skillet, place lemons, cut side down, and sear over medium high heat, until charred. Remove from the heat and squeeze the juice into the bowl of a food processor. Add the entire lemons into the food processor as well.
Add garlic, olive oil, maple, salt, pepper and herbs into the food processor as well. Pulse to break down the herbs and lemon until a slightly chunky consistency is achieved. Serve over warm roasted vegetables, leafy greens or in a grain salad.
